Sources from the Price Control Administration of Guangzhou Municipality said that effective November 2nd, the price of gas supplied through pipelines distributed and operated by the Guangzhou Gas Company and the Guangzhou Guowei Natural Gas Development Co., Ltd in some communities would be charged by a new standard.

According to the new standard, the price increased to RMB16.41 for consumers of pipeline liquefied petroleum gas in those communities, and RMB18.80 per cubic meters for other consumers. The price increased to RMB5.59 per cubic meters for consumers of pipeline substitutable natural gas in those communities, and RMB6.52 per cubic meters for other consumers.
