Since China Import and Export Fair was transferred to the Pazhou Complex in 2008, the future of the Liuhua Complex remained uncertain. However, after a ten-year cooperation deal was signed yesterday (Fe. 10th) between the Guangzhou City Construction & Investment Group and Grandbuy Group, the 36-year-old complex has now been promised a 100 million RMB investment to transform it into a modern facility dedicated to both trade and exhibitions.
The150,000 square-meter hall will be divided into two sections. A commercial transaction area will be set in the south whilst exhibition space will be kept in the north.
